We went to Cancer Hospital two weeks ago and planned some activities for the children who were there. The biggest problem we had was that the same children are not always there so we have to repeat the process of introducing and becoming friends almost everytime we go. However this time was more fun as we played cricket with the children and did some craftwork

Basketball

Even though basketball season's over, the team still meets up evry friday to play basketball. I started last week : Friday 13th, and we played for about 1 1/2 hours. We didnt do much on drills but concentrated on playing as a team and making new plays.

MUN is done :(

MUN finished on 1st March and it is was really amazing how they organized it. The first day, 27th,was spent caucusing our 3 topics and coming up with resolutions to try and address the problem. It was thought provoking and i managed to get some points across and help better the resolution.On the 28th, we debated our topics in our own commitees and we ran out of time since we spent 4 hours on the 1st topic itself :( but at the end the chairs worked out a simple solution adn we merged all of the resolutions for the 2nd and 3rd topics. On the 1st, the three commitees joined to form the GA (General Assembly). The debating became more aggressive and hence was more interesting. We did not win any awards yet the experience was enough to show me : a) how much people in the UN work and what they work for
b) Public Speaking skills
c) have fun
along with the above points, I mad emany new friends and it was a really memorable experience for me.
