Service

For my service activity, i am doing Cancer Hospital, which is located in Maharagama. I picked this activity because it is similar to mny ambition, i.e. become a doctor and it has helped me discover positive qualities that i didn't know i had. Last Thursday, we went for their exhibition and we gave out gifts to the children in the hospital, after watching them perform songs, poem and a short drama on a popular folk tale.

After the exhibition, i felt positive, as the children, who were afflicted with cancer , found something positive in their lives, and through that managed to make everyone in the hall sing along with them. This taught me that no matter what diffculties you face, there's always something positive to look forward to.
